Ltd, better known under the name FRP More V, is a young private-law Chinese company that was founded in 2002. The company specializes in the production of FRP panels. S Fruit of a partnership The company took its technique origins from a joint venture with one of world’s leaders in the sector. Since 2006, More V has taken on independent status and ploughs its own furrow. Today, the company is number one on the Chinese market for FRP panels. With around 200 Chinese companies active on this market, there is a lot of competition out there. The company has FRP panel with attachment. two sites. We are also taking part in the development of a low-smoke skylight system to meet a fast-growing market demand. JCM: Have you any plans for new investments over the medium term? J. L.: More V is a young and openminded company willing to establish effective cooperation with different partners worldwide in order to become more competitive. We are focusing on investments, and technical and business cooperation. JCM: Do you envisage any takeovers? J. L.: More V has two plants at the moment, one in the middle east of China, and the other in the north. We plan to build or purchase another two factories one in the south and the other in the north east of China - but they could be much smaller than our current plants. Shanghai plant. AN INTERVIEW WITH JOHNSON LIU, PRESIDENT, MORE V We have active contacts with FRP companies worldwide and we are using the most modern technology to gain a leading position. Our FRP panel technology is renowned in China and we have participated in the development of a national standard. JCM: Are you intending to launch any new products? J. L.: Yes, More V has not stopped developing innovative products. While most of FRP panel manufacturers in the Chinese market only produce simple corrugated sheets, we also manufacture flat panels and rolls, and gelcoated panels. And we operate the first and widest continuous FRP line in China. We have performed a host of experiments on embossed panels and super-flat panels, with the intention of producing such panels by the end of the year. JEC Composites Magazine: What are the advantages of More V today on this highly competitive market? JOHNSON LIU: More V has an excellent team compared to our competitors in the Chinese market. Our team includes technology and machine equipment experts with many years of experience, not to mention our many skilful technicians and workers.
