hose; 2) a woven fabric that ensures the
tensile strength and improves handling,

optimized to support maximum airflow
but needs to ensure a reliable resin
barrier. Furthermore, it provides a highquality tactile feature that protects the
vacuum film against damage and ensures
pleasant working conditions using the
MTI® hose.

wet out so that resin will be drawn out of
the laminate. This will not happen with
the MTI® hose. Even with a thin, slowcuring resin system, the membrane hose
forms an absolute barrier between the
resin hydraulic pressure and the low pressure of the vent tube, even after the resin
reaches the MTI® hose, thus creating the
perfect environment to produce voidfree laminates. The fact that the resin
catch container can get an early retirement is only one obvious advantage. This
way, manufacturers of extremely large
composite products such as wind turbine
blades or offshore yachts achieve cost
cutting effects by eliminating the catch
container management and reducing
resin consumption. However, the closed
hydraulic system offers additional, more
decisive advantages. The hydrostatic
laws make it possible to easily control
the process, particularly in regard to flow
