Crystal Dam Break Inundation Study and
Emergency Action Plan | El Dorado County, California
"We performed a dam breach inundation mapping study for the Bridlewood
Canyon Homeowner's Association to meet new California water code
requirements that were implemented as an emergency rule in response
to the 2017 Oroville Dam spillway failure. Crystal Dam is 40 feet tall and
impounds 225 acre feet of water. The analysis showed at what level the
earthen dam would fail."

Community Rating System Program |
San Joaquin County, California
"To help keep the cost of ﬂood insurance down in the community, we
are supporting the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works
Flood Management Division in its Community Rating System (CRS)
program. We are helping prepare the county for its cycle veriﬁcation
visit and annual recertiﬁcation by reviewing CRS documentation
and providing recommendations on how to proceed with the
program. In addition, we are providing grant writing and contract
support to facilitate the county in pursuing hazard mitigation
assistance grants through FEMA."

"The population in Los Angeles County is projected to grow by 2.3 million
people in the next 40 years. Measure M was enacted to address growing traffic
congestion and air pollution. As part of this measure, we are working with
the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority to provide
high-level technical support, climate change adaptation analysis, sustainable
engineering design, and environmental management system support as a
subconsultant to LSA Associates."

"Due to severe winter storms and mudslides in California, FEMA Region IX
experienced six presidentially declared disasters last year. We deployed 20

as part of the Nationwide Infrastructure Support Technical Assistance
Consultants joint venture."
