The St. Louis, MO-based elevator bucket and elevator bolt manufacturer (800-288-2726), in July completed expansion of its office and warehouse facility to 92,000 square feet. According to Executive Vice President Ted Beaty, the expansion will allow the 35year-old company to increase its inventory of elevator bolts to over 12 million and add 33 new sizes of No. 1 Norway Part of Tapco’s inventory of and Fanged metric bolts in 12 million elevator bolts. 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm diameters and lengths up to 50mm. “Elevator bolts are one of our specialities,” said Beaty. “We have the largest inventory in the Northern Hemisphere.” Besides the increased space, the company recently added a ninth injection molding machine to manufacture plastic elevator buckets. Wagester & Lease Bruce Callaway has joined the Pittsburgh, PA-based consulting engineering firm (412-344-1408) as a project engineer. According to President Tim Lease, Callaway brings extensive experience in feed manufacturing, along with process improvement and project management. He also will have responsibilities in business development. Sukup Mfg. Co. Charles Sukup, president of the Sheffield, IA-based steel storage and grain conditioning manufacturer (641-892-4222), has been elected chairman of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry. The association’s membership includes more than 1,300 businesses employing about 300,000 Iowans. Brock Grain Systems The Milford, IN-based grain handling, steel storage, conditioning, and drying manufacturer (574-658-4191) has added: • Duwayne Roberson as a district sales manager for the states of Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. • Carl Rivir as manufacturing engineer with responsibilities including integration of new products in the company’s manufacturing processes and manufacturing method improvements.
