Milling Journal - Q2 2008 - (Page 45) MILLING notes Greg Alles Appointed President of Bliss Industries, LLC Greg Alles has been named president of Bliss Industries, LLC. Alles rejoins the Ponca City, OK-based manufacturer of hammermills and pellet mills that he joined in 1992 and then left in 2005 to work for Kice Industries, Wichita, KS. He originally ran sales strategy, developed a network of sales representatives, and created marketing strategies and literature, before serving as a senior executive. While at Kice, he had regional responsibility for the distribution of the company’s industrial air systems. “We are very excited about bringing Greg back to Bliss in the role of president,” states Mark Allen, member of the Bliss board of directors. According to Allen, the addition of Alles rounds out a series of new additions to the Bliss new management team: • Pete Davies–COO of manufacturing. • Paul Gill–vice president of finance and administration. • Jim Greenburg–director of engineering. The 14-1/2-ton, 40-foot-long semitruck, says Marketing Manager Russ Barragee, is designed to be a hands-on demonstration vehicle, with 20 operational Vortex slide gates, diverters, and Vortex Valves North America new 40foot-long mobile display unit.
