The U.S. Census Bureau reported Nov. 6 that third quarter 2008 year-to-date wheat production—311,660 cwt—was down slightly from the third quarter 2007 yearto-date figure—311,773 cwt. However, third quarter production of 108,155 cwt.was up compared to first and second quarter 2008 figures of 101,618 and 101,887 cwt., respectively.
