George Ericsson, G Ericsson & Associates S pring is a time for renewed energy, new initiatives and to stop and make sure you're on track for the year ahead. It's also the logical time to recommit to our careers, our industry and our network. It's my hope that for LTEN and all its members, 2016 is a year of engagement. While a network like LTEN runs on the involvement and participation of its members, and always has, one of our shared goals for this year should be to take things up a notch (at least). LTEN membership, just like the training you deliver, works best when everyone is actively engaged. Kimberly Farrell, Unlimited Performance Training, Inc. For instance, there's the 45th LTEN Annual Conference. It's right around the corner and the conference thrives on your involvement, engagement and attendance. For the first time this year, we're going to give you a sneak peek at the event in a special digital issue of Focus coming out in April, focusing exclusively on the conference and how to prepare for and maximize your experience. Launched in 2016 is a new feature of the Bonus Focus online magazine, the "Gotta Tell You" column, which will appear each month, featuring several tips and solutions from LTEN members. Visit any 2016 issue of Bonus Focus, www.L-TEN.org/bonusfocus, to read the column and share your own solutions. Speaking of sharing, I also wanted to introduce you to some very engaged LTEN members. As you may know, Focus magazine is guided by an Editorial Advisory Board of LTEN members, representing both the primary market and the supplier side of the life sciences industry. We've had great participation, guidance and leadership from many board members over the years. As we began to prepare for 2016, we extended an open invitation to all LTEN members to join the Editorial Board and fielded a large group of candidates. e 2016 Editorial Board again represents LTEN members on all sides of the industry, at companies large and small. We'll be turning to these experts shown on this page to keep Focus editorial on track. You can find a complete listing of the Editorial Board with job titles on Page 45. Of course, we invite you to get involved as well. Interested in joining the Editorial Board? Sharing a "Gotta Tell You" solution? Or would you like to simply share your thoughts and ideas along the way? You can reach out at any time to Tim Sosbe, Focus editor, at tsosbe@L-TEN.org. I'd personally love to hear from you as well ... my email address is shown below. ere are many additional ways we'd like to engage members in the guidance and growth of LTEN ... connect with me and we'll find some way to leverage your interests, ideas and involvement in your life sciences network. ■ John Tejeda, SentreHEART Steve Woodruff, Impactiviti Dawn Brehm is executive director of LTEN.
