PROVIDER INNOVATION:

Axiom, ERS, ScienceMedia & Scrimmage

Axiom
Partnering with a client company,
Axiom produced an immersive
Master Visual Aid (MVA) Gallery
Walk that simulated a museum or art
gallery experience where learners
could visualize content on a panel and
listen to an internal client stakeholder
articulate the context and rationale
behind it. With audio provided via
earbuds, learners were given examples
of "what great sounds like" for optimal
application.
Learners also would complete
interactive knowledge checks on their
iPads to measure knowledge transfer
and provide feedback. e iPad
companion module was designed as a
durable training asset to leverage for
future trainings. roughout the MVA
Gallery, learners were presented with
stimulus materials to help them recall
prior learning and the training was
designed as an enduring asset to
enhance knowledge retention and
transfer.
"In addition to reusing this
innovative design to create galleries
for other departments, the client
organization was able to identify
successful learning strategies that are
being used to further enhance the
organization's training initiatives," said
Mike Ballas, global CEO for Axiom.
"For example, implementation of the
audio component at a live meeting
proved so successful that the client
organization has subsequently begun

the development of a series of
podcasts for upcoming training
meetings."

Educational Resource
Systems (ERS)
is unique training program
literally made people see themselves
and others differently. Creating a
Dermatology Augmented Reality
workshop, ERS was able to show sales
reps a personal view of psoriasis,
using augmented reality trackers to
bring the disease to life.
e workshop, designed to
demonstrate the relevance of psoriasis
legions, treatment, scaling and
advancing stages, gave learners a
perception of what patients face. e
workshop was formatted to use an app
for both live delivery and virtual
activities. Originally designed for 150
learners, so far more than 375
educational experiences have taken
place. e workshop included
simplified content, 3D models,
question-based activities, case studies
and a drag-and-drop iPad activity.
"e medical reviewer was blown

away with the way in which we
delivered this program and simplified
the complex clinical data," said Gregg
Terry, president of ERS. "As a result of
this training experience,
representatives were able to better
relate/communicate the devastating
effects of patients who suffer from
psoriasis with their
physicians/prescribing audience. In
this light, positioning their product
and the benefits of treatment were
discussed from a more empathetic
view with patient experiences as the
back drop for these conversations and
selling engagements."
