About the Author
Jeremy H. Temkin a partner at Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason &
Anello P.C., represents individuals and corporations in federal white collar
criminal investigations. He handles a wide variety of criminal, regulatory,
and civil matters in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels.
His cases have involved allegations of tax fraud and securities fraud, as
well as violations of the antitrust laws and the Foreign Corrupt Practices
Act. Prior to joining the firm, Jeremy served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney
for the Southern District of New York. He has been recognized for his
achievements by various third-party directories. Jeremy is the author of
the bi-monthly "Tax Litigation" column in the New York Law Journal
and a co-author of "Responding to Subpoenas and Other Regulatory Requests," a chapter
in Defending Corporations and Individuals in Government Investigations. Jeremy is a regular
speaker at continuing legal education seminars and has served as a legal analyst on various Fox
Sports Radio Programs. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society and is a past
member of the Board of Directors of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers.
Jeremy received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where he graduated first in his class and
served as an Editor of the UCLA Law Review. He received his B.A. from Haverford College,
where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa.
Miriam L. Glaser an associate at Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason
& Anello P.C., focuses her practice on white collar criminal defense,
regulatory enforcement matters, complex civil litigation, and appeals. She
has litigated in federal courts including the Southern and Eastern Districts
of New York, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Second Circuit, and
the Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to joining the firm, Miriam
served as a law clerk for the Honorable John Gleeson, formerly of the
United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and for
the Honorable José A. Cabranes of the United States Court of Appeals for
the Second Circuit. She serves as a volunteer arbitrator in small claims court
and on the Board of Directors of Open Hands Legal Services.
Miriam received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as an Editor of the Harvard
Law Review. She received her B.A. from Dartmouth College, where she was elected Phi Beta
Kappa and graduated magna cum laude.
