ENGLAND | For the 55th anniversary of the Munich
Air Disaster, Group XG (xtremegraphics.co.uk), a large-format print
service provider in the UK, was commissioned by the Manchester United
fan group, Stretford End Flags, to
create a surf banner for the football
team’s match against Everton in the Old Trafford stadium. Hundreds of Man U fans held the 66 x 98-foot
banner reading, “We’ll never die,” with an image of
the final lineup from a 1958 game against Belgrade.

Tour.” The tour is traveling crosscountry promoting the company’s line of beauty products. AGI completed the fully wrapped vans (minus
the roofs), totaling 13,000-plus square feet, in 16 days.
The year-long, mobile marketing campaign will hit
Ohio, Texas, California, and other states.

AUSTRALIA | Origrami (origrami.com) says it’s the
world’s first print service that gives
users of Instagram the option to
print their photos with the map/location of where and when their photos
were taken (via their smartphones)
on the back of each picture. The
photos are output onto 50-inch transparent fi lm in
Sydney, and are available starting at AUD $19.95,
including free shipping worldwide.

Manhattan’s Times Square was lit
up with neon digital signage by British artist Tracy Emin. S[edition]
(seditionart.com), a website that
sells digital editions of worldrenowned contemporary artwork,
brought the digital displays of love to more than 15 of
the area’s biggest digital screens. Emin’s “I Promise
To Love You” is also available as a digital print for $80
in an edition of 2000.
