Epson has added the P20000 to its SureColor line of wide-format digital printers.
The 64-in. model is designed for printing fine art and photography, featuring a reformulated 9-color UltraChrome Pro ink set with four-level gray technology.
The machine's 10-channel PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead is said to print 2.8
times faster than previous Epson printers; it also offers a max. resolution of 2400 x
1200 dpi. Ink droplets are as small as 3.5 pL.
Additional features include a 320-GB internal server and an optional Adobe Postscript 3 hardware engine.
Epson has also released a more compact version of the P20000, the SureColor
P10000, a 44-in. wide-format printer for display graphics and fine art photography.
