SID Signs Launches
Artemisa Textile Printer

SID Signs and distributor partner Paradigm Imaging have launched the Artemisa
T2100 textile printer, an 82-in. machine for producing tradeshow signage, mesh
building wraps, sports and fashion apparel, flags, and more. Featuring four Seiko
508-GS printheads, the Artemisa offers a max. resolution of 1440 dpi in 4 colors.
Print speeds can reach up to 538 sq ft/hr.
Additional features include a double auto-cleaning system, an automatic media
take-up system, and an integrated inline heat press. Includes Maintop RIP software.
Roland Adds Fluorescent
Dye-Sub Ink

Roland has introduced two fluorescent dye-sublimation
inks for its Texart XT-640 and RT-640 wide-format
printers. The pink and yellow inks are designed to expand
color gamuts for applications such as sportswear, fashion,
soft signage, décor, promotional merchandise, and more.
Roland has also developed the Roland DG Fluor Color
Library swatch palette, compatible with Adobe Illustrator
and CorelDraw.
Agfa Adds Anapurna
LED Hybrid Printer

Agfa Graphics has introduced the Anapurna H2500i LED hybrid printer,
featuring air-cooled UV-LED curing. The company reports this alternative
method to mercury lamp curing technology will allow PSPs to image a
broader range of media, save energy, and increase productivity.
With eight 12-pL Konica Minolta printheads, the H2500i prints at up to
1238 sq ft/hr. The machine's white ink functions include pre-, post-, spot- and
sandwich-white ink imaging, and the separate white ink system offers
circulation, under-pressure regulation, a cleaning circuit, and stirring mechanism. The H2500i also features a CMYKcm configuration with an automatic
ink refi lling system.
The new LED lamps reportedly offer a lifetime of 5 years and have no
warmup or cooldown time. They are also said to enable printing on heatsensitive media such as thin styrene. Other applications include banners,
tradeshow graphics, P-O-P, back- and frontlit signage, fi ne art, DVDs, wood,
beer coasters, ceramics, interior décor, and more.
Agfa Graphics has also introduced Duratex Black Back Mesh Banner, a
material designed to improve visibility from within a wrapped building
without the need to print a flood coat. Other applications include frontlit
signage, window graphics, and tradeshow displays. Duratex Black Back is
available in up to 196-in. widths and is printable with most solvent, ecosolvent, latex, and UV inkjet printers.
