Among them are: * The option to print a barcode and ﬁle name with any print job, and the option to mirror this annotation for dye-sublimation users; * File support for TIFF, PSD, and PNG - image ﬁles often used for DTG printing; * Wasatch Queues, which displays more information about each print job for easier searching; * The ability to lock controls under an administrator password, including Print Setup and Cost Estimator; * A revised roll feed counter that warns users when the printer is nearing the end of a roll; * And the ability to sort color names in the Color Database and Special Color windows. MCTdigital has launched the VersaTech2 ﬂatbed cutter, a digital ﬂatbed offering cutting capabilities via routing, laser, and knife tools. The machine provides cutting speeds up to 78 in./sec. It is available in widths of 63 or 126 in., and lengths up to 252 in. The VersaTech2 is also packaged with TigerVision workﬂow software, with features for nesting and parametric designs. New Latex Inks from Ricoh RICOH | ricoh-usa.com Ricoh's new aqueous resin latex inks are designed to cut cure times. The inks have a 24-month shelf life and are compatible with cloth, bond paper, backlit material, and a variety of other substrates. 3 New HP Latex Editions HP | hp.com HP has added to its 300 series of latex printers with the 54-in. 315 and the 64-in. 335 and 365. Production speeds for the series reach up to 334 sq ft/hr with proprietary features such as the HP Latex Optimizer and HP Optical Media Advance Sensor. Additional features include continuous printing; the HP Quick Solutions app for troubleshooting and quality control (365 model); new online training tools; and an automatic x-axis cutter. Also offered with the HP Latex 365 is HP Custom Substrate Proﬁling and an i1 embedded spectrophotometer. All three models include HP Quick Substrate Proﬁling and the FlexiPrint HP Edition RIP. New features include pricing screens for wide-format printing, vinyl signs, vehicle graphics, and more. Users have the option for advanced conﬁguration of the pricing screens, and the company reports setup and pricing is now faster. BIGPICTURE.NET Inkjet Technology, Inc. (ITI) has introduced the TX3200 textile printer, a 126-in. machine capable of printing on both textile fabrics and dye-sublimation transfer paper. The TX3200 features an internal vacuum mechanism engineered to securely hold down thin paper to prevent wrinkling, and an ink collection gutter assembly for polyester and mesh textiles. ITI reports the printer's ink properties are similar to disperse dyes for direct printing and dye-sub ink for transfer paper printing; ink is delivered via a 5-L bulk-ink system. The TX3200 can be conﬁgured with four or eight printheads for speeds up to 1000 sq ft/hr. An inline IR heat transfer sublimation unit is optional.
