Film. The company reports the fi lm utilizes a bonding
adhesive specially formulated to eliminate silvering on
UV printed graphics.

Xaar is now offering 3D printing software from Materialise
as an option in the company's additive manufacturing
development kit. The bundle, designed for OEMs looking
to develop inkjet-enabled 3D printing equipment, also
includes printheads, an ink supply system, and drive
electronics to control the printhead.
Materialise Magics is a data preparation software
engineered to transform 3D models into printable data.
Functions include mesh repair, editing, and enhancement.
Materialise Standard Image Build Processor interfaces
between the Magics platform and the 3D printer, transitioning models to an inkjet-specific data format. A profi le
editor allows users to customize this process, enabling
multichannel and multipass formats. The program's pixel
fi ll methods, including gradient fi lls and tiling, allow users
to fi ll print areas with any pattern.

Epson Print Layout offers a linear color management workflow designed for
photographers using the SureColor P-Series printers. The platform is said to
simplify printer selection, layout, and color management settings; it also features
a live black-and-white mode output preview. It is available as an Adobe Photoshop plug-in or as a standalone application for Windows- or Mac-based systems.
The software also offers full ICC profi le support; or, users can select automatic
color modes through the Epson print driver.
Additional features include customized frame and border options for gallery
wrap printing, and automatic paper sizing for panoramas.
