The Kongsberg Take Up unit from Esko is designed to
separate finished material from waste during the
postpress process. It is compatible with any Kongsberg
table equipped with a conveyor feed system and can be
moved away when it's not needed. Available in two
models: Unit 2 (66 in.) and Unit 6 (126 in.). Both models
can handle rolls weighing up to 660 lbs.

CorelDraw Reveals Graphics Suite 2017

CorelDraw has released the 2017 edition of its Graphics Suite software. The
platform now features LiveSketch, a program that interprets hand-drawn lines
and combines them with existing vector curves via a pen-enabled device.

Sheets available up to 48 x 144 in. with thicknesses up to 1.5 in.

cloud-based content creation and workflow platform
designed for graphics and signage providers. InClix features
integrated, royalty-paid, high-resolution photos, graphics, and
videos, and a drag-and-drop user interface. Workflow
management capabilities allow integrated client proofi ng and
real-time group communication.
A number of subscription options are also available.

Textile Inks

Digistar Bravo, a new series of textile inks for direct
printing from Kiian Digital, is available in 11 colors:
Black Plus, Deep Black HLF, cyan, magenta, yellow,
violet R, violet B, red, orange, blue, and gray. The line is
engineered with high rub resistance and light-fastness,
and is compatible with Kyocera piezo printheads.
The Digistar Bravo line is said to be durable
outdoors and eliminate any ghosting effect during
fi xing. The disperse dye ink is designed for direct
printing onto synthetic fibers, such as polyester.
Applications include fashion, flags, and interior décor.

Mimaki has announced the TX300P-1800B direct-to-textile printer featuring a
belt transport system for feeding stretchy and thin fabrics. The 74-in. machine
offers high-gap printheads designed to image textiles of varying thickness,
stability, and makeup. Applications include samples and short runs of fashion,
sportswear, interior décor, flags, banners, and more.
The belt transport system features rear tension bars, a sticky belt, and an
embedded belt washing mechanism. The printer offers a dual-ink configuration for
different types of textile printing. Users can choose from a range of textile inks.
