Epson’s new, UltraChrome® GS2 inks will image on standard coated or uncoated solvent-ink media. The S30670 is equipped with a motorized, media-load-assistance system that allows you to load 90-lb. media rolls. Epson also offers an optional system for rolls up to 150 lbs. It also features fourcolor, eight-level, variable-drop grayscale technology with up to 1,200-dpi resolution. (650) 357-3500; www.efi.com Agfa Graphics :Anapurna M2540 FB Flatbed Printer Agfa Graphics North America (Elmwood Park, NJ) released its UV-cure :Anapurna M2540 FB flatbed printer that features six colors (CMYKLcLm) and white ink. It prints 1,200-dpi images on media sizes up to 5 x 8.3 ft., and 1.77 in. thick, at print speeds up to 484 sq. ft./hr. In CMYK mode, the M2540 FB will print 2,430 sq. ft./hr. The M2540 FB also features Agfa’s :Jeti 3020 Titan’s F2R technology, plus a field-upgradeable, Ricoh Gen 4 grayscale printhead system.
