Utah Shop Wins Roland Challenge
Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, CA) announced that Mark Caron, owner of MHC Sign and Design (Payson, UT), prevailed in the Roland Race Experience Challenge. For the competition, Roland asked its equipment users to provide testimonials on the Roland Restyling Born to Wrap Facebook page about how the company’s digital-
printing equipment helped grow their businesses. His prevailing testimonial stated that, after having purchased a 30-in.-wide VersaCAMM SP-300V printer/cutter, his business had tripled. As a prize for the “most compelling” endorsement of Roland products, Caron and a guest will travel to Charlotte to tour the Richard Childress Racing (RCR) Graphics Center and campus. To outfit its vehicles, the RCR Graphics Center operates a VersaCAMM VS-640 metallic-inkjet printer, two XC-540 printer/cutters and an XJ-640 printer. To produce signage and event graphics, it uses three VersaUV UV-cure-ink printers: a 30-in. LEC-330 UV-LED printer/cutter, an LEF-21 12-in., flatbed printer, and an LEJ-640 64-in., hybrid flatbed/roll-to-roll printer. Caron and his guest will also enjoy prime seats at NASCAR races taking place at Charlotte Motor Speedway October 12 and 13 – the Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 and the Sprint Cup Bank of America 500.
