Roland DGA Banner Film Material
Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, CA) is unveiling its RolyPoly™ banner material.
The 10-mil, polyester material comprises a white backer, is tear- and curlresistant, and is designed for roll-up banners, signage, tradeshow graphics,
POP and related applications. The material is profiled for use with the
company’s VersaWorks® RIP, and Roland recommends use with eco-solvent
and UV-cure inks. The company offers the material in 20-in.-wide, 50-ft.
rolls, as well as 100-ft.-long rolls of 30-, 36- and 54-in.-wide material.

(Chicago) is announcing its 24-in.,
color-accurate MultiSync® PA242W
display and color-critical PA242WBK-SV display solution that comprise
the SpectraViewII ™ calibration
software and sensor. The PA242W
display features a GB-R, LED-lamped
backlight, which provides a wide
color gamut and more color control
than conventional, white-LED backlight systems. The MultiSync PA242W
features color control and trusted
color reproduction. It allows you to
load ICC profiles that can emulate
custom-color spaces and match
image prints. It also allows factorycalibrated, digital, uniformity correction and five customizable,
picture-mode presets.
It’s suitable for such accuratecolor applications as photography,
retouching, video editing and prepress work. The display features
1,920 x 1,200 resolution and a 10-bitwide, color-gamut LCD panel.
