Upcoming 2013-2014 REGIONAL EVENTS Complementary Events Regional events can be a perfect companion to ISA International Sign Expo. “It’s totally different in terms of what’s being shown and who is attending,” said Dave Ahouse, vice president of sales, New England division at Alpha Imaging Technologies. “The regional shows are driven by dealers, while the national/ international shows are driven by the manufacturers. We use ISA International Sign Expo as a way to research machines that are just not easy to see anywhere else.” Dan Crannie agrees. “The larger national event connects you with a larger body of the same. But it also connects you with the larger vendors that you might not see at a regional event. It puts them all in one venue—local and national and international vendors—so you can almost put them side by side in one place to make your comparisons.” Regional events provide an excellent opportunity for networking.
