ROLL-BASED CUTTING PLOTTERS
Mimaki Cutters
Mimaki's CG-FXII Series of roll-based cutters - the 62-in.wide CG-130FXII and the 74-in.-wide CG-160FXII - feature
continuous optical crop-mark detection and a half-cut and
over-cut function that eases sign, decal, sticker, banner, and
digital-print cutout production. The machines also feature
three job speeds, selectable clamp pressure, front or back
media loading, and Mimaki's FineCut8 software.
Mimaki also offers its CG-SRIII Series of roll-based cutters
- the 29.1-in-wide CG-60SRIII, 49.2-in.-wide CG-100SRIII,
and 61-in.-wide CG-130SRIII - that feature 500g downforce, four-point segment compensation (for accurate,
long-length cutting), continuous optical crop-mark detection, and a half-cut
and over-cut function that eases sign, decal, sticker, banner, and digital-print cutout production.
The machines also feature (email) event notification, Mimaki's FineCut8 and SimpleCut software, and
an optional sheet basket.

Mutoh Cutters
Mutoh (Phoenix) offers its ValueCut series that comprises
the 24-in.-wide ValueCut 600, 52-in.-wide ValueCut 1300,
and 72-in.-wide ValueCut 1800 cutters that are designed
for cutting vinyl, printed images, and cut-through label
production. These drag-knife cutters feature up to 600g
downforce, contactless loading of pre-printed rolls, a
media-alignment roll-support system, a micro-grit frictionfeed system, digitally controlled servomotors, and multisegment registration for accurate long-run cut jobs.

Graphtec America Cutting Plotter
Graphtec America Inc. (Irvine, CA) offers its FC8600 series
cutters in five widths: the 24-in.-wide FC8600-60, 30-in.-wide
FC8600-75, 42-in.-wide FC8600-100, 54-in.-wide FC8600-130,
and 64-in.-wide FC8600-160. The cutters' maximum cutting speed is 58.5 in./sec., and all models feature up to
600g cutting force, which allows you to process diamond
grade, high-intensity reflective film, self-adhesive vinyl,
sandblast-resist rubber, automotive window and paint
protection film, and other media. The cutters feature an
Enhanced Automatic Registration Mark System, a tri-port
interface and an expanded cut area (outside the registration
mark boundary), auto-paneling (to improve long-length job quality),
and faster perforation cutting.
Graphtec also offers its CE6000 and CE5000 series cutters that feature Graphtec's Advanced
Registration Mark Sensor, contour-cut, pre-printed graphics, up to 450g of force, tangential emulation,
and stands for the 24- and 48-in. models.
