BENCHTOP UV FLATBEDS

Roland has added the VersaUV
LEF-200 to its line of benchtop UV
flatbed printers. The 20-in. machine is
designed for applications including
souvenirs, giftware, trophies, electronic items, packaging, signage, and
other 3D objects up to 3.94 in. thick. It
prints in CMYK + white + gloss; users
can elect to add a new on-board
primer in place of gloss, said to
streamline the printing of substrates
such as acrylic and plastics, or to use
a dual-white configuration. Users can
print spot gloss or matte coats as well
as create embossing effects.
The company has also revealed a
new generation of its 12-in. benchtop
printer, the VersaUV LEF-12i flatbed.
Both machines include Roland's
VersaWorks Dual RIP software, with
features for programming spot colors,
handling PDF and PostScript files, and
managing such features as rotation and
registration directly from the RIP.

AUTOMATIC PRESS SERIES

Anatol has added the Vector line of
automatic screen printing presses. The
line is offered in 2 to 18 colors with
four different print areas ranging from
15 x 16 in. to 20 x 28 in.
The press uses the company's SSE
configuration (servo-driven lift, servo
indexing, and AC electrical printheads),

designed for minimal air consumption.
The series includes a 15-in. touchscreen control with Anatol's Aries
operating system. The system recalls
job settings including off-contact, print
and index speed, and flash-cure time
and temperature. Additional features
include digital central off-contact,
mechanical speed clamps, pneumatichybrid squeegee/flood bar adjustment,
and three-point microregistration.

DTG SERIES WITH INK
RECIRCULATION

Kornit has expanded its Avalanche
direct-to-garment platform with the
Hexa R-Series and 1000 R-Series. Both
series feature an ink recirculation
system designed to save users up to 20%
in ink costs, according to the company.

KORNIT

The Hexa series includes six color
channels + white, while the 1000
series offers a double bridge architecture that allows the white and color
print phases to happen in parallel for
print speeds up to 220 light and 160
dark garments/hr.
Both systems offer a print area up to
35.4 x 23.6 in. Features include an automatic height adjustment mechanism for
printing over buttons, zippers, and more.
Current Avalanche Hexa and
Avalanche 1000 users will have the
option to add the new capabilities of
the R-Series to their systems, as well.

FRONTLIT SEG FABRIC

Fisher Textiles has released DD 4444
Revolution, a 125-in. fabric for frontlit
SEG applications, as well as banners,
exhibit graphics, photographic
backdrops, and retail advertising. The

material is flame-retardant and treated
for UV-curable, direct, and transfer
sublimation printing.

RH Solutions is now distributing
ATMA's new Atmatic MF66/F Fully
Registering Screen Printer. The
automatic press features CCD automatic registration and is designed for
applications such as electroluminescent prints; biomedical test strips;
sensors; fine lines for flexible printed
circuits and printed circuit boards
(PCBs); embedded resistors
for PCBs; flip chips; glued frames for
LCD; touch-screen panels; conductive
glass; diffusive plates for backlit
modules; flexible electronics; and
membrane switches.
RH SOLUTIONS

Features include a pile feeder and
transit rollers. Substrates are transferred to and from the machine using
a robotic arm with vacuum suction
and four CCD cameras. The cameras
locate the substrate target and alert a
servo transmission system underneath
the vacuum table to correct any alignment deviation.
Max. print area is 23.6 x 23.6 in.
