CERTIFICATION CHAPTERS Chapter Leadership Workshop @NTI 2013 Looking for a sure way to enhance your leadership skills? Consider attending the Chapter Leadership Development Workshop (LDW) at NTI. At last year’s event, more than 95 percent of the participants felt that LDW “would positively impact their chapter leadership role.” They also valued highly the networking time with other chapters and chapter advisors. This year’s workshop, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel, will focus on leadership, succession planning and chapter strategic planning. A panel of previous chapter Circle of Excellence awardees will share leadership strategies to help your chapter flourish. Be inspired by keynote Each chapter that attends LDW receives speaker Bungay Michael Stanier, author one $435 grant. of several books, including “Do More Great Work.” Stanier’s motivational speech on leadership will re-energize you about the AACN mission and the work your chapter does in your community. Each AACN chapter that attends LDW will automatically receive a one-time $435 grant to help defray the cost. LDW is open to all chapter members, officers, leaders and potential future leaders; there is no limit to the number of chapter members who may attend for $85 each. We highly recommend that each chapter’s president-elect attend. Sign up for LDW when you register for NTI at www. Select Preconference PC130 – Chapter Leadership Development Workshop.
