This is your chance to achieve celebrity status in the American Business Women’s Association! In the next few months, your rise to the top will include countless opportunities to connect with professionals in your community and receive unprecedented recognition within ABWA. As a member of ABWA, you are automatically entered in a firstever race to the Inner Circle Hall of Fame. By recruiting 11 members between March 1 and Sept. 1, 2009, you will take your place in ABWA history with a special induction into the ABWA Hall of Fame at the 2009 National Women’s Leadership Conference and a commemorative limited-edition brooch. We have divided up the race into three challenges: the Big Break, the Encore, and the Grand Finale. Here is how the game is played: • Your first challenge begins immediately with the Big Break. Recruit new members between March 1 and May 30, 2009, and you’ll be on your way to the Hall of Fame. For each new member you sponsor during this period, you will receive one chance to win a free registration for ABWA’s 60th anniversary celebration valued at more than $450. For example, four members recruited equals four chances entered into the drawing. But wait, there’s more! You will receive one ABWA Goodwill Buck for each member recruited. Bucks can be used toward the purchase of any official ABWA merchandise. • Your next challenge is the Encore. To receive your Encore, you must sponsor new members from June 1 to July 31, 2009. For every member you sponsor during this period, you will receive double the opportunity—two chances— to win a free registration for ABWA’s 60th anniversary celebration valued at $450, plus two Applause Bucks. For example, two members sponsored equals four chances to win plus four Applause Bucks that can be used toward the purchase of official ABWA merchandise. • Your last challenge of the race is the Grand Finale. The curtain opens for the Grand Finale from Aug. 1 to Aug. 20, 2009. For each member sponsored during this phase of the race, you will receive three chances to win a free conference registration for ABWA’s 60th anniversary celebration plus three Standing Ovation Bucks. For example, three members sponsored equals nine chances plus nine Standing Ovation Bucks! ABWA’s prestigious Inner Circle is reserved only for those members who recruit 11 or more new members.
