(Andrew Garfield) and Father Garrpe
(Adam Driver), who embark on a
dangerous journey to track down their
mentor, Father Ferreira (Liam Neeson),
in Japan, where the government has
banned Christianity and driven its practitioners underground.
Passengers, Prieto's first collaboration with Tyldum, is set on a luxury
spaceship transporting 5,000 people
from Earth to a distant colony. When
two travelers, Aurora ( Jennifer
Lawrence) and Jim (Chris Pratt), wake
from hibernation ahead of schedule,
romance blossoms, but their idyll is
interrupted by the discovery that the
ship is on a dangerous course.
Prieto did the final grading on
both pictures simultaneously at
EFilm/Company 3, timing Silence in
New York with Tim Stipan and
Passengers in Los Angeles with Stephen
Nakamura. He was in the midst of this
work when he connected with AC via
Skype to discuss both projects.

Given the period and storyline, Silence
clearly called for a departure from
