Rapid Pulse And Recycle Clairmont Strobes have an exposure time of 1/50,000th –substantially less time than the shutter is open. This pulse flash, along with your T-stop, set the exposure. You can maintain the same T-stop and exposure level while varying camera speeds because Clairmont Strobes have a very rapid flash recycle time. Speeds of up to 150 frames-per-second are fine. Control The Temperature If you’re shooting food, you need strobes. Regular “hot” lights will most assuredly wilt lettuce, melt ice cream, and have an effect on steam, condensation, etc. With strobes, conditions are easier to control.
