MEMbERs IN thE NEws On The Move Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. elected Dan Meckes Tim Martin has joined Chicago-based engineering firm CTE as senior vice president. as the firm’s new president. Meckes will succeed Brian Whiston, who will continue to serve as chairman and CEO. Meckes also serves as a member of the ACEC/Missouri board of directors. Dan Meckes Patrick Kennedy has been promoted to president of V3 Companies of Illinois. Ken- Phillip Watts Martin will focus on developing innovative solutions to the challenges that today’s government agencies must overcome. As former secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation, Martin led the third-largest state DOT in the country. CTE is part of the AECOM Americas Transportation Group. Lawrence Reuter has been Patrick Kennedy nedy assumes the position previously held by Dean Antony, who remains the firm’s COO. Kennedy will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Chicago, Elgin and Woodridge, Ill., offices and the St. John, Ind., office, overseeing the delivery of V3’s multifaceted services, including such areas as civil engineering, environmental, water resources, transportation and construction management. Earth Tech Inc. promoted three employees, Brian Burgher, Susan Shultz and Phillip Watts, from Tim Martin Brian Burgher Susan Shultz vice president to senior vice president. Burgher, who is responsible for the management of Earth Tech’s Capital District, has been with the company for 13 years. Shultz leads Earth Tech’s Key Industrial Client Program, which is dedicated to helping the company meet the needs of select industrial clients. She has been with Earth Tech for nearly two decades. Watts manages Earth Tech’s Rocky Mountain District and has been with the company for 18 years. Lawrence Reuter named a senior vice president of Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), where he will serve as PB’s project manager for the People’s Transportation Plan, a multi-billion-dollar rail, highway, bus and neighborhood improvement program for Miami-Dade County, Fla., for which PB is providing program management consulting services. Reuter served as president of MTA-New York City Transit from 1996 through February 2007 and, from 1982 to 1990, was senior vice president of operations for NYCT, responsible for all subway and bus service. NYCT is North America’s largest public transit system. KCI Technologies Inc., a Franklin Snyder Maryland-based consulting engineering firm, promoted Franklin Snyder to vice president. Snyder was hired by KCI in August 2004, and he expanded the services of the firm’s mechanical and electrical division to include building commissioning, fire protection engineering and plumbing engineering.
