Andrea Martinez Project Manager PBS&J Tampa, Fla. Andrea Martinez’s expertise in water resources has been a tremendous benefit to PBS&J, where she focuses on stormwater and large watershed management projects throughout Florida, which includes leading the hydraulic/ hydrologic modeling team in assessing existing flooding and water quality analysis, alternative analysis and project recommendations. Martinez has prominent volunteer roles with several industry organizations. She also tutors high school students in math and serves as co-chair of the Florida MathCounts competition. Brian Craig Project Engineer United Consulting Engineers & Architects Indianapolis Brian Craig’s increasing proficiency in highway interchange systems was first demonstrated when he was design engineer on the I-465 Interchange Project in Indianapolis—a winner of a 2003 ACEC Engineering Excellence Honor Award. He also was lead design engineer on Indiana’s I-65 Corridor project, the I-80/94 Interchange Modification and the Borman Expressway. The two projects accommodate more than 170,000 vehicles per day and total more than $400 million in construction costs. Danielle Fason Project Manager WilsonMiller, Inc. Tallahassee, Fla. Danielle Fason has taken the lead at WilsonMiller for infrastructure designs of several major environmental and residential developments. She designed roadway, infrastructure and stormwater systems, as well as prepared all permit applications for a major phase of the 499-acre WaterColor resort and residential community, which earned an Award of Excellence from the Urban Land Institute in 2004. She also performed hydrological analysis and design for the wetlands restoration at Big and Little Talbot Island State Parks, overcoming numerous challenges to minimize impact on the natural and historic resources. Laurel Passantino Project Engineer Malcom Pirnie, Inc. Phoenix Laurel Passantino is a recognized expert in UV disinfection and was a major contributor to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s UV Disinfection Guidance Manual. She also was instrumental in suggesting a unique blending solution that saved Phoenix taxpayers millions of dollars in arsenic treatment facility costs. Her extensive data analysis of the Phoenix initial distribution system also saved the city more than one and a half years of monitoring and sample collection and additional cost to achieve compliance with EPA regulations. Lyndsey Alm Senior Environmental Engineer Environmental Resources Management St. Paul, Minn. Lyndsey Alm has developed extensive expertise for Environmental Resources Management in the assessment and mitigation of vapor intrusion into buildings from environmentally impacted soil and groundwater. She is a regular presenter at technical conferences and frequently meets with community leaders, professional colleagues and the public to address how technology can solve vapor intrusion problems.
