Masters Series
The Masters Series is designed to showcase the approaches and outcomes of some of the healthcare field’s most successful leaders in four critical areas: physician integration, information technology, clinical quality management and leadership. The Masters Series includes four 90-minute sessions, each featuring two presenters. Participants will learn from the expertise and real-world experiences of these “masters” of healthcare leadership. Please note: All Masters Series Sessions have a limited capacity, so be sure to register early. Masters Series Session #1 Monday, March 11 10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Explore the crucial role senior leadership plays in making and Information Technology Integration guiding technology decisions and issues—large or small—that Richard P. Join the William B. Leaver, FACHE President/CEO, Iowa Health System leaders of two successful integrated delivery systems who have Christopher D. The speakers, who are nationally recognized for uniting diverse medical staffs to achieve common goals, will discuss effective approaches to helping their medical leadership understand the impact of health reform and the importance of aligned visions and aligned incentives. Masters Series Session #4 Tuesday, March 12 2:15 p.m.–3:45 p.m. Gain insight into senior leaders’ role in leading quality of care Quality and Process Improvement initiatives and improving work processes on a large scale with Tammy L. Dye, RN Chief Quality Officer, Schneck Medical Center two leaders who have achieved superior outcomes. Each of the Nancy M. Schlichting CEO, Henry Ford Health System speakers is the chief executive of a 2011 Malcolm Baldrige Award-winning organization. Together, they will share their perspectives, strategies and insights for getting and sustaining buy-in, alignment and support from medical staff, administrative leaders and frontline employees to improve both operational and clinical outcomes.
