48 NETWORKING Orientations and Receptions Networking Orientations and Receptions Connect with healthcare leaders from around the globe at Congress' networking orientations and receptions. Attendance at the Monday or Wednesday Congress Reception is included in your registration fee. You may purchase tickets for spouses or other guests or for an additional reception on-site for $80 each, as space permits. Please note: The Monday Congress reception fills up quickly. If you select the Monday reception and space is not available, you will automatically be registered for the Wednesday reception. Student Associates registering for the Student Track may choose either the Monday Student Associate Networking Reception or the Wednesday Congress Reception. Note: Congress Express participants may only attend the Wednesday Congress Reception. Sunday, March 23 Modern Healthcare Health Care Hall of Fame Reception: Sunday, March 23, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Award Presentations and Dinner: Sunday, March 23, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. In 1988, Modern Healthcare created the Health Care Hall of Fame to honor individuals who have made significant, lifelong contributions to the healthcare field. On March 23, Modern Healthcare in conjunction with ACHE will honor the 2014 inductees at a dinner at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The presentation of awards will immediately precede dinner. Plaques honoring the inductees will be placed in the permanent Hall of Fame display at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. All Congress participants are invited to attend the Hall of Fame dinner. Tickets are $190 per person; tables of 10 can be purchased for $1,900 per table. A portion of the proceeds will support the scholarship fund of the Institute for Diversity in Health Management. Business attire is requested. Monday, March 24 Speed Networking and First-Time Congress Attendees Orientation Monday, March 24, 7:00 a.m.-7:45 a.m. Start out this year's Congress with an engaging, fast-paced networking experience. By participating in this kickoff networking session, you will meet five individuals from the healthcare community who may have a long-lasting impact on your career. Just a few minutes of your time can provide exceptional benefits-don't miss it! Before the networking, a review of what to expect at Congress will be presented by ACHE staff to help you take full advantage of all that Congress has to offer, including highlights from education sessions, receptions and special events. Student Associate Orientation Monday, March 24, 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. All Student Associates registered for Congress are invited to attend this orientation. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with their peers from across the country as well as with ACHE's elected leaders.
