Masters Series
The Masters Series is designed to showcase the approaches and outcomes of some of the
healthcare field's most successful leaders in four critical areas: innovation, leadership, physician
integration and quality/process improvement. The Masters Series includes four 90-minute
sessions, each featuring two presenters. Participants will learn from the expertise and realworld experiences of these "masters" of healthcare leadership. Attendees register for each
session individually. Each session is approved for 1.5 ACHE Face-to-Face Education credits
and is applied to the 9 credits included as part of basic registration.
Note: All Masters Series Sessions have a limited capacity, so be sure to register early!
Masters Series Session 1: Healthcare Innovation Monday, March 26

This session recognizes healthcare organizations and their
executives who are making strides in employing innovation in
strategies and operations to improve patient outcomes, engage
their staff and clinicians, and provide more efficient and positive
outcomes. Both speakers lead operational teams to achieve better
results while being mindful of the likelihood of reduced resources
in the future. These masters of innovation will provide transferable lessons that can be employed in many other healthcare
settings.

Masters Series Session 2: Executive Leadership Monday, March 26

Join the executive leadership team from Ascension, one of the

Catholic health system, to learn how they work collaboratively to
build and sustain a culture that supports their mission of care, a
workforce of 150,000 associates and 36,000 aligned providers at
2,500 sites of care. Key to their efforts is the development of
programs and efforts geared toward preparing current and future
leaders for all levels of sponsorship, governance and leadership.

Masters Series Session 3: Physician Integration and Alignment Tuesday, March 27

The movement from volume to value demands that highperforming healthcare organizations have high-performing
medical staff and partners. The leaders of two successful integrated

physician groups to achieve common goals, will discuss effective
approaches to integrate and align physician providers and the
challenges that lie ahead.
