Your communication efforts will bring you into contact with many different individuals during the search process: hiring officers, managers, board members, volunteers, executive assistants, and potential peers in the new role. Be sure they remember you in the best possible light. And after the visit, sending handwritten thank-you letters to everyone you interviewed with is appropriate and still recommended. CONCLUSION Developing your brand is the first step in outlining your future-or building on your career-as healthcare a professional. When the time comes to transition to the next chapter, leverage your brand by using tools similar to those applied in business brand marketing to define yourself, identify the opportunity, and position yourself to the land the job.
