Parthenon Award Winners
The ACUHO-I Foundation announced its newest
class of Parthenon Society members at the Annual
Conference & Exposition in Seattle, Washington. The
Parthenon Award recognizes outstanding collegiate
housing professionals for their service, leadership,
achievement, and contributions to the housing field.
Nominees are submitted by their colleagues and must
have at least 10 years of service in housing, residence life,
or an affiliated field; have at least five years of service at
the regional or international level with ACUHO-I;
and have demonstrated an impact on the campus
housing profession.

Illinois University Edwardsville
Marty Takimoto, Director of Marketing & Communications,
University of California, Berkeley
Steve Waller, Assistant Vice President, Louisiana State University
Tradition calls for these nominations and their championing
to be a secret so that the recipients may be surprised at
the conference. A minimum of $3,000 in donations to the
ACUHO-I Foundation is collected on behalf of each recipient.
The 2016 Parthenon Award winners are as follows:
