TPE ONSITE: SUMMER
In 2008, ACUHO-I and NASPA joined together to establish The Placement Exchange (TPE) to help ease the job search
process for student affairs professionals and hiring institutions. TPE truly has become the preeminent career placement
service for the student affairs profession, facilitating an average of 12,000 onsite interviews each year and, in the past
two years, more than 2,800 positions via its online job board.
The hiring process has changed, and finding the right talent is a greater challenge than ever. The traditional hiring
season has evolved from a few months in the spring to an almost year-round initiative as more positions in a greater
number of functional areas are available and the workforce becomes more mobile. Specifically, there has been an
increase in the number of positions that become available late in the spring through the start of the fall semester.
To help support this, TPE will pilot a summer TPE Onsite event in Denver, Colorado, July 6-7, 2018, immediately
prior to the ACUHO-I Conference & Expo. Both employers and candidates will have access to the great resources and
amenities of the existing TPE Onsite Event while in a smaller, more intimate setting during an emerging crucial time
in the search process.
