Join your colleagues for a celebration of the ADA’s 150th anniversary along with fantastic Hawaiian performances and the 2009 Distinguished Speaker. DRESS CODE October is summer in Hawaii, but the island trade winds will keep you comfortable. Attire is “resort wear” even at the most luxurious resorts and restaurants. There’s no need to bring a coat or tie unless you want to dress up. “Aloha shirts” are a popular choice for men. Bring casual wear such as T-shirts, tank tops, polo shirts, shorts, jeans, sundresses, sneakers and sandals. Temperatures are cooler in the evening, making a sweater and slacks a good idea. A jacket is recommended for those planning to venture into cool upland regions.
