Designed for efficiency and simplicity, the lightweight Hanau Ulti-Mate articulator combines high-end features in an economical, ergonomic unit. It offers the ability to lay the base at 45°, which positions a mounted case to the technician at a “work friendly” angle for hands-free tabletop viewing. The removable extension pin allows the articulator to be opened without the top half swinging into the lower base. A simple, effective, push-pull centric locking pin uses a detent system with a magnetized fossa, replacing fragile spring latches or screw adjustments to simplify activating the lateral and protrusive movements. Magnetized fossa eliminate premature separation of upper and lower halves. A magnetic mounting system fits this instrument allowing the plates to snap into place for precise and repeatable alignment. lab The innovative centric lock pins relate the upper member to the hinge axis position.
