These unique and flexible foam strips conform, stretch, and bend upon movement, even around fingers, knees, and knuckles. Band-Aid continued to promote its line of antibiotic bandages, which claim to minimize the appearance of scars and heal wounds faster than ordinary bandages. Watch for continued product introductions aimed at individuals with an active lifestyle. and many parents are looking to treat their children with products they feel are safe and free of chemicals and pesticides. Lice outbreaks are usually seasonal, with the biggest occurrence taking place in mid-summer and early fall, as many children attend summer camp and head back to school. Be sure to stock traditional antiparasitic treatments along with the pesticide-free products to reach all your shoppers. Innovation is key to merchandising New and innovative products may be entering the scene, but without a fresh display that highlights them, your customers will be stuck on the same old bandages. Even though first aid category shoppers are influenced by price, they are typically brand loyal, so placing your bandages in vertical brand blocks is important to increase sales. If you really want to reach the growing group of active shoppers, within each block, showcase your higher tier and specialty bandages at eye level and above. General use bandages can be placed lower on your display because your price-conscious shoppers will find them regardless of their placement.
