This newest product will be available in 600 mg/42.9 mg per 5-mL strength for treating bacterial infections. It is a generic equivalent to GlaxoSmithKline’s Augmentin ES-600. Sandoz offers amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium in a number of other strengths in oral suspension, tablet, and chewabletablet formulations. Minneapolis-based Paddock Laboratories is offering clotrimazole lozenges 10 mg as an alternative to Mycelex Troches, from Bayer-Roche.
