Its parlor is the site of a surrender that ultimately ended a war and led to the adoption of the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the Constitution. Several other reconstructed buildings and original historic structures grace the property, including an exterior kitchen and slave quarters. Military items, mid-19th Century furniture, and the pencil used by a famous General to make corrections to the surrender terms are on exhibit in the home. Plus, a 70-seat theater repeatedly displays slide shows, including soldiers’ diaries. Can you name it?
