LCGC The Peak - July 2008 - (Page 11) JULY 2008 THE PEAK 11 (Berger, Newark, Delaware). As with each method, each compound was injected separately to confirm the elution order. Gradient Reversed-Phase HPLC: Injections (5 L) were delivered to a Waters (Milford, Massachusetts) system consisting of a model 1525 binary HPLC pump, a model 2700 sample manager, and a model 996 photodiode array detector. All samples were chromatographed with a 5–95% linear gradient (water–acetonitrile with 0.1% formic acid (v/v) in each) over 9 min through a 150 mm 4.6 mm Waters Symmetry Shield C18 column at a 1.5 mL/min flow rate. UV results were calculated by Open-Lynx software (Waters). Isocratic HPLC: Injections (5 L) were delivered to an Agilent 1100 system.
