I Industry veteran Michael Peikoff has been promoted to senior vice president, licensing and merchandising at Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising, the company that initiated his career. “Michael has been an integral part of the success we’ve experienced in our Licensing & Merchandising division,” says Elie Dekel, executive vice president, licensing and merchandising, Fox L&M. “His insight, strong relationships, and tenacity have helped propel licensing programs for “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” and Napoleon Dynamite, among others, to new levels while also helping to launch new business development initiatives for the division. I Cartoon Network hired Jenny Smyth as marketing executive. She joins Cartoon Network from Chorion, where she served as a marketing coordinator for properties including Mr. Men and Noddy. I Michael Chang has been hired by Warner Bros. Consumer Products as attorney in the business and legal affairs group, focusing primarily on the AsiaPacific region.
