As in the past, these candidates represent a variety of age groups, cultures, disciplines, and specialties. And, as with each ensuing year, the numbers of participants have grown—from 11 clinicians and 8 recruiters in 2006 to 26 physicians and non-physician providers and 16 staffing agency representatives, this year. This heartfelt appreciation is mirrored in the feelings that professionals have for the recruiters, schedulers, and other agents with whom they partner. Just some of the attributes they use to describe these experienced professionals include: understanding, patient, accessible and accommodating, intelligent, courteous and considerate, energetic, and prompt. Valued for their responsiveness, pleasant demeanor, and honesty, these staffing representatives are considered more than colleagues, they are deemed friends.
