It’s a useful option in cats with intermittent clinical signs, particularly syncope, in which a dysrhythmia is suspected but hasn’t been detected during a routine electrocardiographic examination. Ambulatory ECG monitoring is particularly helpful in identifying ventricular tachycardia.
