She has also held senior management positions at IMS Management Consulting, most recently as practice leader, product and portfolio development, and previously as senior principal. Takeda (Japan) has announced the appointment of Dr Erich Brunn as CEO of Takeda Pharmaceuticals Europe (TPEU). Dr Brunn has been president of Takeda Pharma GmbH since 2001. Commenting on the appointment, Yasuchika Hasegawa, president of Takeda, said: “Dr Brunn has a proven track record of success and excellence, which is apparent through the remarkable growth achieved by Takeda Pharma GmbH under his leadership. We are confident that he will provide TPEU with the same level of success as he takes on this pivotal role.” Grahame Cook has joined the board of Fulcrum Pharma (UK) as nonexecutive director and chairman designate. The current chairman, Sir Charles George, is set to retire in December.
