The meeting will be taking place at the Pestana Rio Atlantica Hotel on Copacabana Beach. CCC2008 will present many novel countercurrent and centrifugal partition chromatography research topics as both lectures and posters that will demonstrate the benefits of using liquid stationary phases. There will also be an exhibition attached to the conference for manufacturers to show their developments in instrumentation. Additionally, a pre-conference mini-course, “CCC: Theory and Applications”, will take place on 24 and 25 July. This will include lectures and practicum by a distinguished international faculty. The programme and abstracts are available on the company’s website at www.CCC2008.org Are Wyatt instruments the product of intelligent design or evolution? Yes. There’s no debate about it. We invented commercial laser light scattering, then built on it to develop a complete family of related instruments, all of which provide unparalleled performance for our customers. Today, Wyatt’s light scattering products are the most widely recognized on earth. Thousands of chemical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, academic and government laboratories around the world rely on them to characterize macromolecules of all kinds. Just some of these examples have been published in over 2,500 peer-reviewed articles based on their work using Wyatt instruments. These articles, application notes and other feedback in the scientific environment have helped our 15 PhD scientists and other innovators to refine our instruments more rapidly to meet our customers’ needs. And oftentimes, the result is an unprecedented new product. So, was it intelligent design or evolution? Precisely. For more information call 805.681.9009 or visit us at wyatt.com.
