The STABILIZER™ “locks” into place, bracing the chord while ensuring precise on center spacing. Only one #10 low profile self-drilling screw is required to secure the STABILIZER™ to the truss chord. • Fastest way to space and brace cold formed trusses. • Available in 24" and 48" O.C. sizes. • USC and USD versions. • Can remain in system as permanent bracing. "Yoke" End INSTALLATION PRODUCTS MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS *US Patent #: 5, 884, 448 Mil Thickness: .035 (24" O.C.), .046 (48" O.C.) ASTM: A653, Grade 50 Coating: G60 Yield Strength: 50,000 psi INSTALLATION 1) Hook the “Yoke” end of THE STABILIZER™ over the Ultra-Span® Chord lip. 2) Bring the STABILIZER™ down and snap it over the back flange. 3) Snap the “Straight” end over the next truss. 4) Lap the “Yoke” end of the next STABILIZER™ over the “Straight” end of the existing STABILIZER™. 5) Snap over the back flange and continue until the “Straight” end snaps over the next truss. 6) Install one #10 self drilling screw through the overlapping STABILIZERS and flange of the Ultra-Span® chord. Step 6: Install SDS into "YOKE" end on second truss. Step 5: Snap "STRAIGHT" end of STABLIZER on to third truss. 48" Step4: Overlap "YOKE" end of second STABILIZER over the "STRAIGHT" end of first STABILIZER Step 3: Install low profile self drilling screw into "YOKE" end to secure. 48" Step 2: Snap 'STRAIGHT" end of STABILIZER on to second truss Step 1: Attach STABILIZER to first truss at "YOKE" end.
