The traditional configuration using C-studs and track materials allows for many options to meet the load requirements. Support can be provided with either Built-up or HDS jamb. • Available in 3½” to 12” depths. • Must be insulated at time of fabrication. • C-stud material should be ordered unpunched. Built-Up Jamb ™ WINDOW/DOOR HEADERS HEADER ATTACHMENT METHOD The connection at the jamb is made by nesting the boxed header into the track. Jack studs can be added under header for additional support. HDS Jamb TRADEREADY HEADER Built Up Jamb or HDS Jamb The TradeReady® Header is a one piece, 14-gauge load distribution member that drastically reduces labor costs compared to standard boxed headers. The TradeReady® Header simply slips over the top track of the panel and is screw attached to the jamb studs. Support for the header can be provided with either Built-up or HDS jambs. • Available in 35/8” and 6” stud sizes with 8” or 12” legs. • Labor saving assembly. • Easily insulated after installation. ® Built-Up Jamb HEADER ATTACHMENT METHOD The connection at the jamb is made by draping the header legs over the jambs and screw attaching.
