To perform this job successfully, an individual must be self-motivated; have strong communications, listening and public speaking skills; be technically competent with natural gas technologies and the fundamentals of gas operations; and be able to understand and clearly articulate related customer needs to various technical and non-technical personnel. A bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is required. Direct experience in the energy industry, with specific knowledge of the gas utility sector, is required. At least four years of progressive contributions in industrial sales or marketing positions is preferred as well as a strong track record in securing new business growth in target segments.
