Job Summary:
Responsible for a wide variety of analyses related
to planning and optimization of gas purchases,
hedging strategies, interstate pipeline capacity,
and storage assets. Participates in both short-term
and long-term gas supply resource planning by
utilizing SENDOUT and other advanced computer
software models. Responsible for accounting for
gas purchases, hedges, including mark-to-market
accounting functions, exchanges, storage utilization, capacity releases and on and off system
gas sales and trading transactions. Verification,
reconciliation and documentation of all third party
invoices. Analyzes contract information and maintains Gas Management System database.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a working knowledge of GAAP, an
understanding of internal control concepts, and
business principles and theory normally acquired
through a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, business administration or a related field
and three years analyst/accountant experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Prepares analyses relating to gas supply
resource acquisition and optimization for both
physical and financial portfolios. Develops
comprehensive analyses and other business
reports utilizing optimization models (such
as SENDOUT) to provide documentation for
resource decisions.
2. Verifies all third party and gas supply invoices
for gas purchases and reconciles any differences. Responsible for reconciliation of gas
transactions with accounting department,
including mark-to- market calculations and
hedges, including financial derivatives. Chairs
and represents Gas Supply in the company’s
month-end purchased gas cost accounting close
meetings.
3. Prepares and monitors regular status reports
regarding specific contract information.
Provides proper documentation of all transactions and maintenance of original documents
as resources for reporting and responding

to various audit exceptions requests to meet
Company’s system, contractual and regulatory
obligations. Responds to routine and non-routine
data requests.
4. Negotiates contract arrangements for natural
gas supplies for the Company’s core market
consistent with the GSOC approved portfolio
design.
5. Prepares various monthly/annual reports and
filings for U.S. and Canadian governmental
agencies.
6. Evaluates processes, reports, and systems;
makes recommendations for improvement,
analyzes and explains trends and variances.
7. Develops and maintains a contemporary knowledge of and retention system for contracts,
pipeline transporter tariffs, and other transactional documentation. Stays current on Company
tariffs and service procedures, customer load
requirements and usage profiles.

Job Summary:
Oversees field operations for the Company in
the areas of measurement, pressure regulation,
instrumentation and alarm circuits. Acts as liaison
between Gas Measurement Department, Accounting and Field Operations. Responsible for assuring
accurate accounting of gas measurement data.
Maintains system-wide telemetry system in compliance with Company guidelines and State and
Federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
1. Directs the installation and operation of metering and gas testing facilities for the Company.
2. Directs, organizes, facilitates and conducts training for measurement field personnel. Ensures
field activities are conducted in accordance
with best practices, applicable standards and
government regulations. .
3. Responsible to resolve all technical issues
related to Automated Meter Reading (AMR),
telemetry, measurement and odorization equipment.
4. Directs meter shop staff regarding scheduled
and random testing processes, equipment reliability and general operation.
5. Provides technical assistance in the development of training programs, policy review/revisions and programs in meter reading, telemetry,
measurement etc.
6. Investigates and provides feedback of customer
metering issues.
7. Designs, constructs, installs and implements
special controls for field data-gathering and
transmission equipment, including but not
limited to meter reading equipment, transfer
provers, odorizer pumps, and special telemetry
equipment for pressure control.
8. Reviews compliance with established Company
policies and procedures and with State and
Federal laws, recommending corrective measures when appropriate.
9. Oversees maintenance, testing, calibration and
repair of field measurement and data-gathering
equipment, flow computer, meter testing equipment and compressor control equipment.
10. Maintains inventory of repair parts and new
equipment.
11. Maintains knowledge of Company Standards
and government regulations regarding measurement and calibration.
12. Evaluates and makes recommendations to
management regarding purchase or replacement of tools and equipment.
13. Provides technical expertise and assistance
to the Districts for sizing, maintenance and
repairs of all meter and regulator installations.
14. Performs other tasks and special projects as
assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess advanced industrial electronics
knowledge and expertise at a level normally
acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree and five
(5) years directly related technical experience in
electronics, instrumentation, circuitry, telemeter
design, maintenance and repair. Thorough knowledge is required of pneumatic and electronic
controls, instrumentation and electronic data-gathering equipment and circuitry, and the regulation
and control of natural gas systems. Advanced
computer skills and expertise in software applications specific to field measurement equipment. An
equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
