people Kurmas Stiers Norcia Wiggins At Consumers Energy, the board has elevated a number of key executives to vice president roles. These include Ronn Rasmussen, VP of strategy and research; Patti Poppe, VP of customer experience, rates, and regulation; Garrick Rochow, VP of customer operations and quality; Mary Palkovich, VP of energy delivery; and Rich Ford, VP of transmission. DTE Energy named Steve Kurmas president and COO; Dave Meador vice chairman and CAO; and Peter Oleksiak senior VP and CFO. In addition, Jerry Norcia was named president of COO of DTE Electric and Gas & Storage Pipelines, and Mark Stiers became president and COO of DTE Gas. Co. Gas Natural Inc. has appointed Gregory J. Osborne president and COO. Osbourne replaces Kevin J. Degenstein, who is leaving the company. While Tom Smith, the company's VP and CFO, has announced plans to retire, he will continue in his current position until a replacement is named. John Hester and William Moody have been named executive vice presidents at Southwest Gas. Anita Romero has been promoted to SVP, staff operations and technology. The American Gas Association announced the appointment of four staff members into leadership positions. Kathryn Clay, who has served as executive director of the American Gas Foundation, is now VP, policy strategy. Andrew Soto, who has represented AGA before a host of federal agencies, is now VP, regulatory affairs. Jennifer O'Shea, who has led AGA's marketing and communications effort as managing director of communciations, is now VP, communications. And Linda Nahin, who has managed AGA's human resources department for five years, is now VP, human resources. Dena Wiggins, currently a partner at law firm Ballard Spahr and head of the Process Gas Consumers Group, has been elected president and CEO of the Natural Gas Supply Association.
