D I G I TA L M E D I A P R O D U C T I O N BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE The Digital Media Production program provides students with a comprehensive range of skills required in the film, video production, and communications industries. Extensive training in both pre-production and post-production processes, coupled with technical skills in camera operations, lighting, composing, scriptwriting, and audio engineering will enhance their employment opportunities in the field. Digital Media Production graduates will be prepared to seek entry-level employment opportunities such as Production Assistants, Tape Operators, Videographers, A/V Technicians, Assistant Editors, Studio Camera Operators, Production Technicians, Character Generator Operator/Graphics System Operator, Media Specialist and Associate Producers, but may also find employment as Producers, Directors, Editors, Audio Engineers, Lighting Technicians, Production Coordinators and Broadcast Graphics Designers. The Mission of the Digital Media Production Bachelor of Science Degree program is to offer students an industry-relevant curriculum, while creating an environment conducive to helping students grow intellectually and creatively to meet the demands of tomorrow’s marketplace. Students will learn to formulate, construct, and deliver digital audio, video and motion graphics.
